M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology from JNVU, Jodhpur in 1989 and P.G. Diploma in Computer Science & Application from IICM, Jodhpur in 1990.  Awarded Ph. D. Degree in 2006 by FRI, Deemed University, Dehradun on the topic,"Dependency, Evaluation and Selection of Efficient Strains of A Mycorrhizal Fungi for Prosopis Cineraria (L.) Druce in Western Rajasthan". Attended a training programme of "Rehabilitation and Revegetation of wastelands" conducted by Department of Forestry at Australian National University, Canberra, Australia (1 Feb. – 1 May, 1996), sponsored by FAO, Rome, Italy under World Bank (FREEP) Project.
Nineteen (19) years research experience in the forest pathology field regarding isolation, identification of fungal pathogens and evolving chemical/biological management strategies of economic important diseases of forest seeds, nurseries and plantations of arid and semi-arid tree species. Isolation, identification of AM fungi on selected arid zone tree species & their impact on forest tree species. Associated with Imparting training on VAM technology, nursery & plantation diseases and their management to SFDs, NGOs and progressive farmers.
