M.Sc. in Zoology with specialization in Entomology from JNVU, Jodhpur in 1990.  Awarded Ph. D. Degree in 1998 by FRI, Deemed University, Dehradun on the topic " Investigations on the morphology, Bionomics, Ecology and Management of Rohida defoliator, Patialus tecomella Pajni, Kumar & Rose (Coleoptera: Curculionidae)". Ninteen years of research experience in the field of forest protection of arid and semi-arid region. Conducting Survey, Collection, Preservation, Identification & Life cycle studies on pest species of seed, nursery, plantation & timber of forest tree species in various agro forestry, social forestry & forestry zone of arid & semi-arid region of India. Conducted research to evolve suitable control measures and management of pests in forest nurseries, plantation, of forest trees species in arid and semi arid regions. Associated with the application of insecticide & control of insect pest & White flies in nursery, experimental field trials of  various plantation of AFRI, Jodhpur & SFD, Rajasthan. Conducted survey and collection of vegetation, soil sample and socio-economic data under UNDP- Rajasthan.
